Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Life Ledger, an app developed by Random Apps Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using Life Ledger, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
1. What Life Ledger is
Life Ledger helps you keep track of commitments that have a date attached — such as subscriptions, bills, insurance, licences, and warranties — and reminds you before they’re due. It is a personal organisation tool. It does not make payments on your behalf, does not contact your billers or providers, and does not guarantee that any bill, subscription, or renewal will be paid or renewed correctly. You remain fully responsible for your actual payments and renewals.
2. Accounts
You can use Life Ledger fully without an account. Creating an account is optional and only needed for cloud sync across devices. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, and for anything that happens under your account.
3. Subscriptions and payment
Life Ledger offers optional paid subscription tiers (monthly, annual, or lifetime) that unlock additional depth of features. Core functionality, cloud sync, and data export are never restricted to a paid tier.
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Cancellations, refunds, and billing management are handled directly through Apple or Google, according to their respective policies — we do not process payments or refunds ourselves
- You can cancel at any time through your device’s app store account settings
4. Free tier
The free tier of Life Ledger is fully functional on its own and is never intentionally degraded to pressure you into upgrading. Paid tiers add depth (such as expanded storage for attachments), not core functionality.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app beyond what’s permitted by law
- Interfere with or disrupt the app’s infrastructure or servers
- Use the app to store or transmit content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes on others’ rights
6. Your content
Everything you enter into Life Ledger — obligations, notes, attachments — belongs to you. We don’t claim ownership over it. You can export or delete it at any time.
7. No warranty
Life Ledger is provided “as is.” While we take reliability seriously — including the accuracy of reminders — we cannot guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that every notification will be delivered, particularly due to factors outside our control such as device manufacturer battery-management settings, network conditions, or operating system restrictions. Life Ledger is a tool to help you stay organised; it is not a substitute for your own diligence regarding payments and renewals.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Random Apps Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including missed payments, late fees, or lapsed coverage resulting from a missed or delayed notification.
9. Changes to the app or these terms
We may update Life Ledger and these terms over time. If we make material changes to these terms, we’ll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
10. Termination
You may stop using Life Ledger and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app will be handled under Bangladeshi law.
