Delete Your Account & Data
How to permanently delete your Life Ledger account and the data associated with it.

Delete your account in the app
You can delete your account directly from Life Ledger:
- Open Life Ledger and go to Settings.
- Tap Account, then Delete Account.
- If you’d like a copy of your data first, use the Export My Data option shown on the same screen before confirming.
- Confirm the deletion. Your account and cloud-synced data are removed immediately once the request is processed.
If you’re offline when you request deletion, it’s queued and completed automatically as soon as your device reconnects.
Request deletion by email
If you’d rather not use the in-app option, or can’t access the app, email us and we’ll take care of it:
Use the subject line “Delete My Life Ledger Account” and send it from the email address associated with your account, if you have one. We’ll confirm your request and complete deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted

| Attachments (photos, documents) | Permanently deleted from our servers |
| Local data on your device | Remains on-device unless you also delete or reinstall the app — Life Ledger works offline-first, so local data is yours to keep or remove independently |
| Anonymous usage analytics | Not linked to your identity; never contains obligation titles, notes, amounts, or attachments |
Partial data deletion
You don’t need to delete your whole account to remove specific data:
- Delete individual obligations or attachments directly in the app at any time.
- Email hello@helprspace.com to request removal of specific data without closing your account.
